I am delighted to now be able to confirm the menu details for this year’s Old Altrinchamian’s Annual Dinner.
I know many have locked the date in their diaries but in case you missedprevious announcements, it’s taking place on Friday 26th September 2025.
And it’s back at the school!
Last year’s dinner was a massive success so we are following a very similar format this year.
School tours will be available pre-dinner at 6pm for those wishing to retrace their steps and re-live their best and/or perhaps most notorious school moments. No South bogs I’m afraid, but plenty of history as well as some amazing new facilities.
Why not use this opportunity to get back in touch with your old form group, team mates, band mates, society mates or fellow thespians? Maybe you could arrange a ‘House’ table if you were at school when the system was in place? Tables of 10, 12 or more can be arranged, or smaller groups. Just let us know what you’re planning and we’ll sort the seating plan for you.
The chefs have been busy pulling together a superb menu which for just £40 per head, which is as follows:
Starter: Creamed Garlic Sauteed Wild Mushrooms Served on a Sourdough Crostini garnished with Parmesan

MainCourse: Chicken Fillet loaded with Sun Blushed Tomato pesto, served on a bed of Crushed Herby Baby Potatoes, Roasted Green Beans and Tender stem Broccoli laced with a Red Wine jus

Dessert: Rhubarb and Ginger Slice. Rhubarb and Chocolate filling with a Ginger Crumb base sprinkled with a Chocolate Flake and Raspberry dust.
We’re still working on a vegan/vegetarian option and will confirm that with all as soon as possible. When you book your places, please make sure you confirm if you would prefer vegetarian/vegan options as well as any special dietary requirements.
It promises to be a fantastic evening with a great bar, live music, an update from the Head Master, the infamous raffle….and of course the chance to catch up with old (and new) school friends to share memories of our times at AGSB.

Firstly, please put the date in your diary. Friday 26th September 2025. We’ll be meeting for pre-dinner drinks at 7pm.
Next, please contact Stephen Perrett at sperrett@cheetham-mortimer.com to reserve your place/table – stating how many places you are interested in booking. Stephen will then get back to you with payment details.
If you are able to donate a prize to the raffle, (match tickets, hotel/restaurant/experience vouchers, memorabilia, beers, wine etc), then please contact Christian at christian.james@ifagency.co.uk.
Finally…for now….we have already started getting significant booking enquiries. So please can you share these details with your school contacts asap and let Stephen know how many in your group are up for joining us this year.
